Wellbeing and harmony through sounds.
First of all I would like to introduce myself. My name is Gladys Anitescu and I would l to specify that I practice mindfulness activities such as yoga, sound bath (I have different instruments, certificate) and I have already held music therapy sessions in local area.
I have been teaching introductory notions about the harmonizing effects of music for over 10 years, I have had groups of students (adults and teenagers) with whom I worked together in weekly sessions thus having experience in working with people I attended courses in the field over several months, practiced intensively different methods with the guidance of the teacher obtaining diploma and certificate of graduation. For about two years I have been organizing workshops in York presenting introductory elements followed by the healing session. I have full DBS checked , I am member on Federation of Holistic Therapy(FHT), insurance and the instruments used have very good quality.
I have observed the profoundly beneficial effect on children. Music is important in the early years, as it affects children's intelligence and emotions, and helps them develop their skills, including: early language development, increased ability to learn foreign languages and improved mood and emotional regulation.
SOUND THERAPY CAN HELP TO: release toxins from body; improve general health and wellbeing; reduce pain, improve sleep, energy level, and concentration, release negative emotion, stress, anxiety and low mood.
There are certain conditions when Sound bath and chakras harmonization are not suitable for: anyone who is less than three months pregnant, pacemaker, brain stimulation device (BSD), recent bone breakage, tinnitus, recent joint or heart surgery, unmanaged mental health issues (like epilepsy, bi-polar symptoms, schizophrenia) or under the influence of alcohol, or recreational drugs.
Healing response:
Sound meditation can have positive healing effect and it is natural to feel more heightened emotions, tiredness and/or emotional releasing for about 24-48 hours after your session. You may also find that you need to go to the toilet more frequently.
