Laughter Yoga is a unique exercise which combines laughter with yogic breathing(Pranayama)
Dr. Madan Kataria (medical doctor in Mumbay, India) in March 1995 was writing an article “ Laughter-The Best Medicine” for a health journal. He discovered many modern scientific studies which described the high beneficial oh laughter for human mind and body. Dr. Kataria developed a range of of laughter exercises including elements of role-play and other techniques from his days as an amateur dramatic actor. He discovered the laughter was contagious and very soon others followed.
